Fishermen & Ship Supply in San Francisco 1947 Northwest Diving Equipment in Seattle. Old DESCO display.
We have several photos of a Detroit diver named William Schwacha. One photo on the back states he was a "Marine Diver (Guadal Canal) sic Commercial and Police Diver.
We recently had occasion to scan in some photos of the development work done on the Air Hat. Mr. Fifield did some testing in his swimming pool at home. The first series of photos are of testing the air hat itself, and the second series is testing the air hat with a Unisuit.
They also did open water testing in Lake Michigan
